As long as I can remember, I have always loved baking. As a young girl it was cookies and as I grew up I remember loving to watch my mom bake and decorate birthday cakes for our family. It made me feel extra special on my birthday when I got a personalized cake from my mom.
When I became a mom I wanted to be able to surprise my kids with a fun and creative birthday cake just like I had when I was a little girl. As I did this I found that cakes aren't just for birthday's and I realized how much fun it was to make cakes customized to match individual events. I was hooked and I have been making cakes ever since.
At the urging of friends and family I have started Traci's Cakery.
Making cakes that not only look good but taste great is what I like to do.
